Khulisa Management Services (Pty) Ltd is a small-medium sized business founded in 1993 in South Africa Khulisa's core business is research, monitoring and evaluation (M&E) with a focus on education, public health and Social development sectors. ==About== The word Khulisa is common to the Xhosa, Zulu and siSwati languages, meaning “to raise or foster the development of a person or community.” Originally focused on providing evaluation support to the education sector in South Africa, Khulisa's services have expanded into impact evaluation, data quality assessments, performance assessments, database development and capacity building in M&E. Khulisa's slogan ''"Accurately Measuring Progress"'' reflects its commitment to accountability and evidence-based management Since its inception, Khulisa has undertaken a wide range of research, evaluations, and data management-related activities serving over 150 different clients, including the South African Government, numerous bilateral and multilateral donors, private businesses and Non Governmental Organizations.
